The highly smooth paper, developed in collaboration with the Ehime Prefectural Industrial Technology Research Institute's Paper Industry Technology Center, is a writing-specific paper with high density, firmness, and thickness, making it resistant to ink bleed-through and suitable for both ballpoint pens and fountain pens. The cover, designed to resemble genuine leather, is accented with a motif in copper foil. It incorporates the nib design of the ROMEO No. 3 fountain pen and an inkwell design from an old Ito-ya product catalog. The endpapers, printed with a design reminiscent of an academic book, harmonize beautifully with the cover, creating a classic atmosphere.
