The highly smooth paper, developed in collaboration with the Ehime Prefectural Industrial Technology Research Institute's Paper Industry Technology Center, is specifically designed for writing. Its high density, firmness, and thickness make it resistant to ink bleed-through, suitable for both ballpoint pens and fountain pens. The cover, designed to resemble genuine leather, is accented with a motif in copper foil. It incorporates the nib design of the ROMEO No. 3 fountain pen and an inkwell design from an old Ito-ya product catalog. The endpapers, printed with a design reminiscent of an academic book, harmonize beautifully with the cover, creating a classic atmosphere.
