This simple A4-sized desk mat features a flat surface free of stitching or embossing, and is designed with a comfortable thickness. From the texture of the surface to the finish of the back, it uses bonded leather fiber specially ordered by Ito-ya from the long-established German manufacturer "Salamander." The uniform surface with fine embossing, retaining the texture of leather, is beautiful, and the A4 size is easy to use as an underlay, providing comfortable support for desk work such as writing and computer use. *Bonded leather fiber is a material made by finely crushing leather scraps, hardening them, and then coating the surface. During the manufacturing process, traces of material mixing and slight color differences inherent in leather may appear as small black dots or spots on the surface. Also, there may be a lingering odor from the manufacturing process at the time of shipment, but this will fade with use.
